How to apply for INDIAN CDC online ?

Hello welcome to Mariner Plus and in this post i will guide you on how to apply for INDIAN CDC online.

I have also made a video on YouTube. you can refer this video or continue reading below.


STEP 1) Documents required 


  1. INDOS
  2. 5 STCW Certificates 
  3. Passport
  4. 10th Passing certificate

and check your INDOS if it is not updated or registered then it will show you this screen which is below but if you have registered yourself then skip STEP 2 


STEP 2) Register yourself 

www.dgshipping.gov.in -->e-governance(on lefthand side) --> Seafarer Registration(New)




after clicking this you will be taken to a page where you have  to enter your INDOS and  some personal information like your height, eye colour, address, qualification etc

after registering they will send you your userid and password to access e-governance the username is your indos number and password is usually your indos number but you have to add digit "1" at the end  for example indos no is 16SL0589 so your password will be 16SL05891but first please register

after this go to STEP 3

STEP 3) New CDC Application


once you have received your user id and password now login to e-governance and select "CDC Management and  COC as Cook" option after clicking that you will be taken to page where you have to select submit and select "CDC Application" the first option please refer the images below.





after clicking on continue now you will be taken to page where all the information will be there as per INDOS but there are few colums where you have to fill information like NEXT OF KIN here you will have to enter the name of your parents, guradian, wife etc with their adress and contact number.

then you will have to enter detail of medical certificate like name of doctor, doctor registraion number etc which you can find on medical certificate easily.

now after this you will have to make a payment of Rs.700 using your Debit or Credit Card and after that it will ask you to upload your documents like you passport, 10th passing certificate, aadhar card, medical fitness certificate.

NOTE - ALL DOCUMNETS WHICH YOU  ARE UPLOADING SHOULD BE SELF ATTESTED

    10th pass certificate of open university is valid to apply for CDC certificate? And 10th pass certificate is compulsory for applying CDC certificate

      Depends on ur certificate. If its is recognize by state govt or govt of india.

Join DNS With less than 60% in PCM

   Hello and welcome to Mariner Plus. in this post, I will explain to you how to join DNS (Diploma In Nautical Science) with less than 50%.     The minimum requirement for DNS is 60% in PCM as most of you know but there is one college in Chennai the name of the college is IMA ( International Maritime Academy ) which is approved by D.G Shipping please note that I am not affiliated to this academy I am just helping you guys get admission in  DNS.      This Academy gives you admission even if you score 45% in PCM without any entrance exam and you will get an INDIAN CDC and Diploma after completing this course and you can sail as CADET but there is one drawback over here and the drawback is there is no sponsorship or placement from this college you are on your own after completing the course. you will have to search for a job by paying money to an agent or by using someone's reference.
